On the same iPhone or iPad,
open the local bridge.
Floe iOS Bridge is a standalone iPhone and iPad app for app control, screen reading, screenshots and live video, with connections kept local by default. Main-app integration is not available yet.
Version 1.0 is in preparation. The release centre will list the verified IPA and SHA-256. This is not a promise of App Store distribution or Apple approval.

System prompts
The client, the local loopback and Floe iOS Bridge all live on the same device; LAN access is off by default and there is no peer-to-peer path.
The connection stays inside the device by default.
You keep the permissions and confirmations; capabilities open with the connection and end when it closes.
Local loopback
By default clients connect through 127.0.0.1:8200 or [::1]:8200. LAN access and same-network discovery are off by default, and there is no peer-to-peer path.
One app, built-in host
The host, the local development tunnel and the test engine ship in one package; no extra runtime helper app is needed. The first signing, install and developer pairing may still need a computer.
Confirmations stay on the device
Every new client is approved inside Bridge; system confirmations and passcode steps happen on the device. Third-party app password input needs a separate grant that is off by default.
A usable address appears only after the service is genuinely ready; an explicit stop stays stopped.
The boundary, stated plainly.
The 1.0 scope is a standalone device bridge. Check the release centre for public download availability.

Tool and model integration with the main Floe app
Physical iPad validation: compatibility is assumed, not verified on hardware
Main Floe app integration is deferred. iPad compatibility is assumed for the target platform, not verified on hardware.
Install, pair, then start the service.
Go from signing to a first connection in order; system confirmations appear only when needed.
Install
Check the release in the release centre for system requirements; verify the SHA-256 before using the IPA.
Re-sign with your own developer material: the host and the packet tunnel extension both need the Network Extension capability and matching profiles.
Install the signed app on a device with Developer Mode enabled; the first install may need a computer.
Complete the system confirmations on the device; do not bypass a security prompt.
You keep your signing material and profiles; Bridge does not sign in to an Apple ID or issue certificates inside the app.
First connection
Open Bridge and import this device’s developer pairing record from the setup page.
Install Bridge’s local VPN configuration; enter any passcode only on the device.
Start the service; a usable address appears only after it is actually ready.
Connect the same-device client to http://127.0.0.1:8200 or http://[::1]:8200 and approve the new client inside Bridge.
After a reboot, unlock the device and open Bridge; it tries to restore the service you intended to run. An explicit stop stays stopped.
Permissions
The connection itself grants no other app’s password input. Sensitive-input grants are per client, off by default, and never allow the device passcode or system authentication.
LAN access and same-network discovery are off by default; enable them only when another device genuinely needs to connect.
Revoke a client or stop the service inside Bridge at any time; revocation ends later access and streaming connections.
Recovery and removal
Expired signature or profile: re-sign with valid material and prefer updating the same Bundle ID in place.
Expired client authorization: pair again and approve inside Bridge; a new device pairing record is normally unnecessary.
Missing runtime image: download or import it inside Bridge and check the actual recovery result.
Removal: stop the service, delete the app and its local VPN configuration; changing the Bundle ID can create separate app, Keychain and VPN configurations.
Pairing records, signing material and client keys are private; do not publish them or attach them to a report.
Separate the app, the signature and the system confirmation before reinstalling anything.
Why can’t the main Floe app see this device yet?
Tool and model integration with the main app is deferred and not available; 1.0 delivers the standalone app and automation service.
Is this the same app as Floe Bridge on the Mac?
No. Floe Bridge is the macOS menu bar companion; Floe iOS Bridge is a standalone iPhone and iPad app with its own package, version and release record.
Which address and network scope does it use?
Same-device clients use http://127.0.0.1:8200 or http://[::1]:8200. LAN access and same-network discovery are off by default, and there is no peer-to-peer path.
Does it need an Apple ID, free signing or a specific re-signing tool?
Bridge does not sign in to an Apple ID, issue certificates, or promise free-Apple-ID or arbitrary re-signing tool compatibility; use your own developer signing material.
Has iPad been validated?
iPhone is validated on hardware for each version record; iPad compatibility is assumed for the target platform and has not been verified on hardware.
Will it be distributed on the App Store?
Public downloads follow the GitHub release record; this page makes no App Store or store-availability promise.
