Overview

References without hand-copying: search academic databases (OpenAlex for broad coverage, PubMed as the biomedical authority — single-database searching is the top cause of a lopsided reference list), turn DOIs, PMIDs, arXiv IDs or article links into complete records, and emit clean BibTeX; existing bibliographies get batch-validated, deduplicated and reformatted.

Database records are often incomplete, so missing volume and pages get verified against the publisher's own page with the check logged; online-first articles keep their real publication state, and absent information stays honestly absent. Optional service keys are used only if you configured them yourself.

Manuscript diagrams go through the app's own drawing and canvas surfaces. Paired with literature-review it clicks: one finds and screens, the other cites and records.
